isn't slowing down one bit. Each day
there are new products and services that
are available to you. This newsletter
will introduce you to Twitter and the
newest version of Internet Explorer.

Twitter 101

Twitter's the current
internet craze, allowing
users to send short messages
(max of 140 characters)
known as "tweets." Other
users can sign up to
"follow" you and get your
tweets as you submit them.
You in turn can follow
friends or other interests
such as CNN, the Red Sox,
Disneyworld, Obama, etc.

New Area Codes for CT |
Two new area codes are being
added in Connecticut. The 475
area code will be added to the
203 area, and the 959 area code
will be added to the 860 area.
Because of this, when dialing
from a landline phone you will
be required to dial the area
code as well as the telephone
number. As of May 16, 2009 you
can begin using the new dialing
procedure. And beginning
November 14, 2009, you will be
required
to dial the area code to
complete your call.
What will you need to do in
addition to changing the way you
dial? You will need to change
all of your services, software
and automatic dialing equipment
that are programmed to dial only
the 7 digit telephone numbers.
This includes: fax machines,
dial up ISP connections,
security systems, speed dialers,
call forwarding and voicemail
services.
