The 23rd annual Middlesex County Business Expo is being held on October 26th & 27th, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 100 Berlin Rd., Cromwell, CT. Cozi Central is a free software service targeted at
families. It includes a family calendar, shopping list management, a screen saver with appointment reminders, and 'Cozi Messages', allowing family members to quickly exchange text messages and email.

Cozi Central was created by former Microsoft employees and has a great look with some unique features. The calendar is color coded to help coordinate the schedules of family members, and you can create a number of shopping/to-do lists. The most valuable feature is that you can access it via the web, your PDA or your cell phone. You can install the software on an unlimited number of computer and/or access it via the Internet. We've been hearing from our clients that spam is becoming more of a problem and it's taking up a lot more time and energy to sift through inboxes in search of legitimate email messages. Tip of the Month

Organize your calendar in Outlook by assigning labels to appointments. Outlook defines 10 labels by default, each with its own color. To assign a label to an item, open the item and click on the Label drop down box on the right. Outlook colors the item's background with that color in your calendar. The result? You can easily identify specific types of items at a glance.

To Customize the labels: In Calendar, on the Edit menu, point to Label, and then click Edit Labels to open the Edit Calendar Labels dialog box. Type in your preference for each color.
