If
you don't have time to go online and
search news website, you can set up
a Google alert to automatically
email you when Google finds the
search terms you've identified for
your alerts. Whether you are
looking for news items related to
your company, industry or an
individual an alert can be set up.
Setting up an alert takes no time at
all. Visit the
Google Alerts home page, enter
your search ('ABC Company', 'Skippy
Jon Jones'), the type of alert you'd
like (News, Web, Video etc.), how
often you'd like Google to check for
results, and your email address. Hit
the 'Create Alert' button, and
Google will send you a confirmation
email; clicking the link in that
email will activate your Alert.
That's it!
