Hi everyone,
Unofficially, summer is here. The
summer is often a slow time for some
industries and a time when people take
vacations and long weekends. As a
result, many businesses use the slow
time for IT projects, which means it's a
busy time for us. This newsletter gives
you some information on two projects:
bringing your email in house and content
filtering, as well as some links that
may be helpful if you're taking any road
trips this summer.

Microsoft Exchange Server |
Email
is now a critical function in the business
environment and a lot of business is
conducted by email. Why not host your own
email and increase the reliability of your
email as well as add additional components
like shared calendars, folders, and contacts
and increase your productivity? If you have
a server you can host our own email. And if
you are already running Small Business
Server, you have the Exchange software. So
what exactly are the benefits of using
Microsoft Exchange Server?

Gas
prices have reached a record high here in
Connecticut. Do your homework online before
you hit the road. Here are some resources
that you might find useful this summer:
GasBuddy and
Connecticutgasprices are both good
resources to check prices in your area or in
areas you'll be traveling. Both are based
on users input, so one site might have
better results for certain towns than the
other. The
Fuel Gauge Report has current and
historic gas prices and the
Fuel Economy site has tips on how to get
the most mileage as well as information on
hybrids and alternative fuels. Happy Trails. |
